We are looking for a super sharp, highly-motivated, hard-working, team-spirited, business-minded attorney with commercial contracting experience to join our commercial legal team. This job will involve interfacing with our commercial (sales) team to provide creative, proactive and pragmatic legal guidance and white-glove deal support. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to capture complex legal and business concepts clearly, concisely and to stay calm under pressure.

*We strongly prefer candidates who can be based in Little Rock or Boston.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Develop and implement sophisticated legal strategies that align with our business objectives, focusing on long-term impacts and corporate governance.

  • Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of critical commercial agreements, including strategic partnerships, major service agreements, and international contracts.

  • Serve as a key legal advisor to the management team, providing strategic insights and risk management solutions that shape corporate policy and decision-making.

  • Innovate and refine legal processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and address emerging business and regulatory challenges.

  • Mentor and lead internal legal teams and external advisors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the legal department.

  • Act as the primary legal contact for major stakeholders, ensuring alignment on key business and legal initiatives, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

About You (MInimum Requirements):

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar.

  • A minimum of 8-12 years of legal experience in a corporate environment, with a significant portion in a leadership role handling complex commercial transactions.

  • Demonstrated expertise in areas such as AdTech/MarTech, SaaS, data privacy, and international law, with a proven track record of navigating complex legal landscapes.

  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and external partners.

  • A strategic thinker who is proactive, highly motivated, and capable of directing major legal initiatives.

  • Comfortable with high degrees of ambiguity and capable of creating legal frameworks that support innovative business practices.

  • A leader who can inspire and develop teams, driving the legal department’s strategic goals and fostering a collaborative environment.

Bonus Points & Preferred Skills:

  • Prior in-house legal experience who have worked within Adtech/Martech, SaaS, data, or similar technology sectors.

  • Expertise in areas such as AdTech/MarTech, Data, Tech Transactions, and Open Source Licensing. A deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and a solid track record of drafting and negotiating contracts, advising business teams, and managing legal risks.

  • A proven track record in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, highlighting the ability to effectively handle a high volume of assignments from multiple business units.

  • Takes a pragmatic and proactive approach to addressing and navigating complex legal challenges.

The approximate annual base compensation range is $160,000 to $200,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
